Penetration Tests

What is a Penetration Test?

A penetration test is a simulated cyber attack against your computer system, website or network. We take the role of a malicious attacker looking for vulnerabilities to exploit. A penetration test could expose gaps in your security posture such as:

  • SQL Injection
  • Code Injection
  • Cross Site Scripting (XSS)
  • Session Hijacking
  • Weak/Default Passwords

Report & Debrief

The post-engagement report is a deliverable that includes a summary, security findings and practical recommendations on how to fix them. While reports are pretty standard in the industry, the debrief and support is not. All our penetration tests include a debrief and follow-up with our security professionals.

The debrief is a walk-through of our penetration tests and the findings. It is during this time that we are able to explain the implications of any security issues that we might have found. We then are able offer actionable steps to fix the short-term issue as well as long-term recommendations for helping you prevent future risk.

The Follow-Up  is an optional meeting a month after the debrief where we touch-base and discuss any security questions or concerns that your team might have.
